El Ceibo, flor símbolo de Uruguay es también el nombre de un restaurante en Santa Ponsa que ofrece primariamente dos cosas; muy buena carne y una bodega única en su género. La carne importada y de excelente calidad está preparada y sazonada siguiendo antiguas recetas de la cocina uruguaya. Hecha después a fuego de leña, el resultado final es inigualable. Tierna, sabrosa y con gustos nuevos y exquisitos. Chuletón, Entrecot, Solomillo; el corte de la carne varía pero el sabor es siempre delicioso.
La bodega contiene más de 100 marcas de vinos. Uruguayos, Chilenos, Argentinos y Españoles. Escoger una botella que acompañe bien a nuestro plato de carne no sería tarea fácil si no fuese por que en la carta de vinos del Ceibo hay completa información sobre el carácter de cada vino, su origen, edad, precio ...
Los postres son todos caseros, exquisitos y originales. Como los colores cálidos y la decoración de El Ceibo, que crean un ambiente idóneo para una buena cena y un rato muy agradable.

El Ceibo is a flower of Uruguay and also the name of a Restaurant in Santa Ponsa which has two specialities; very good meat and a unique wine cellar. The meat, imported and excellent, is first prepared following traditional recepes of the Uruguay gastronomy.
Afterwards it is cooked on a wood fire and the final result is unforgetable; tender, tasty and with exquisite new flavours.
T-bone, Entrecote, Sirloin Steak ... the cut of the meat may differ but the taste is always delicious. The wine cellar has more than a hundred different wines: From Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and from Spain. With such a wide choice it could be a difficult task to select the right bottle that will go well with your meal.
